New Environmental Permit Fee Schedule Open for Public Comment
Open for Public Comment-July 16, 2024 until August 15, 2024
The Clay County Board of Health approved a new environmental health permit fee schedule on July 11, 2024. This schedule is available for review and open for public comment from July 16, 2024 until August 15, 2024. All comments need submitted in writing and received by August 15, 2024 at the Clay County Health Department, Attn: Angela Brown, 452 Main Street, Clay WV 25043-0036.
Community Health Needs Assessment

The Clay County Health Department (CCHD) completed a comprehensive community health assessment in Clay County in 2023. The project involved surveying both residents and employees of the county, conducting extensive secondary data research, analyzing the data, and producing a report outlining key findings and recommendations.

The Clay County Health Department (CCHD) completed a comprehensive community health assessment in Clay County in 2023. The CHNA guided the development to the 2023 Strategic Plan. This plan is meant to guide the service and direction of the health department for the years of 2023-2028.
